Scott Wilke Hits Us With A Bad Bug Double Feature

Scott Wilke Hits Us With A Bad Bug Double Feature

Writer Scott Wilke has several writing credits under his belt, including stories such as Periwinkle, HyperGeist, Red Scare, The Legend of Everett Forge, and so many others including Welcome to Monster World and Cereal Killer, that are on Kickstarter right now!

I got the chance to sit down with Scott and talk about some favorite family traditions, how he got interested in writing in the first place, where his ideas come from, and so much more!  We also chat about what we can see from him in the future and any advice he might have for up-and-coming creatives!

Scott’s newest books Cereal Killer and Welcome to Monster World, brought to life by the extremely talented Kit Wallis, Dave Lentz, Juan Calle, and Luiz Suarez, are on Kickstarter right now!  If you are unfamiliar with these two books, here’s a little bit about the two of them, starting with Cereal Killer #1:

Detective B. Runch, a salty sleuth, finds himself in a sugar-coated clusterfuck as he investigates the murders of famous cereal mascots.  It’s a limited series that will, like all good detective stories, shock you with twists and berate you with endless puns!

Welcome to Monster World is about a vacation that turns into a fight for survival as a family of four stumble upon Monster World, a theme park full of creatures that only existed in myth, until now!  It’s Jurassic Park with cryptids and a dash of Goosebumps!

It’s being billed as a Bad Bug Media Double Feature, where you’ll not only get these two books, you’re going to get a copy of the revamped version of the book Ragnarawk, written by Dave Lentz (who also did the lettering), Mike Tener, and Allen Dunford, art by Jok, and colors by Kevin Anthony de Castro!

Ragnarawk sucks!!!…or at least everyone on Asgard thinks so.  Deemed unworthy after one very bad performance, King Odin banished the band of Asgardian rejects to Earth (Midgard) where their music was loved by millions.  While Ragnarawk enjoyed their fame on Midgard for over a decade, a sinister force called The Great Bummer has overtaken the realms, plummeting civilizations into despair and dreadfully horrible indie folk music.  Now YOU will join Ragnarawk on their radical quest to tour the Nine Realms and restore life throughout the cosmos with the healing power of ROCK N’ ROLL!

Make sure you stop by and check out all the amazing covers and artwork that Bad Bug Media has made available for this new project, and help spread the word!
