Reviewed by Weird – Welcome to Monster World #1

As summer comes to an end, some people like to take some time and reflect back on the memories of all the adventures that were had.  Pool parties, barbecues, and for some, family trips.  Now, depending on the destination, the time together with family could be something you remember forever.  But in some cases, that’s not always a good thing, as we find out in Welcome to Monster World #1, one of the brand new books from our friends at Bad Bug Media

Here’s the premise:

Vacation turns into a fight for survival as a family stumbles upon Monster World, a theme park full of legendary cryptids.

Coasters, creeps, and cryptids oh my!  Welcome to Monster World #1 by the team of Scott Wilke, Juan Calle, Luis Suarez, and Dave Lentz was a fantastic ride through a theme park idea that should have already been a real-life idea, a theme park for cryptids!  This family definitely got more than they bargained for when an innocent trip to the bathroom led to the discovery of what may (or may not) be an abandoned theme park for the most rare creatures on Earth!  They should be safe, as long as they can remember the three rules.  Too bad they didn’t hear them!

If you’re a fan of the fantastical creatures that may or may not be real in the world of Cryptids, you should definitely check this book out!  The Kickstarter is live right now, and you can get this book and TWO other great books!  Make sure you check it out and tell your friends about Welcome to Monster World #1!
