Goodfellas and GTA: Vice City’s Ray Liotta Passes Away at Age 67
Ray Liotta has passed away at the age of 67. The report from Deadline stated that Liotta passed away in his sleep while in the Dominican Republic filming the movie Dangerous Waters. A source spoke with TMZ and confirmed that “nothing suspicious about the death, and no foul play is suspected.” The details surrounding his cause of death are unknown at this time.
Having had a long and prolific career that spanned roles in Goodfellas, Field of Dreams, Blow, Identity, and Marriage Story. He also lent his voice to the iconic lead character Tommy Vercetti in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The star had seen himself reemerge into the Hollywood limelight since his role in Marriage Story which led to roles in Prime Video‘s Hanna and upcoming projects such as Dangerous Waters, Blackbird, and Cocaine Bear.
Liotta’s films and impact on the gaming community through his iconic voice work in GTA: Vice City will be something fans will be able to carry with them for a long time.
