Penthouse Comics #1: Penthouse Comics Returns with a Bang!
The iconic Penthouse Comics is making a stunning comeback, spearheaded by Nathan Yocum and Ryan Swanson of Behemoth Comics, in partnership with Penthouse Global Licensing. Scheduled for release on the thirtieth anniversary of the original Penthouse Comics, the inaugural issue is set to hit the shelves this February, adding an extra layer of excitement to Valentine’s Day.

Featuring an impressive lineup of cover artists, including Matteo Scalera, Jeff Dekal, Joshua Swaby, Marc Aspinall, Robert Sammelin, Vanesa Del Rey, Maria Llovet, Elia Bonetti, and many more, Penthouse Comics #1 is poised to make a grand return into the world of comics early this year.
As if this wasn’t enough, the second issue builds, promising contributions from renowned artists such as Tula Lotay, Jae Lee, Marguerite Sauvage, and others. The reimagined Penthouse Comics will break new ground as a bi-monthly publication, offering 96 pages of captivating content per issue, reminiscent of the classic magazine format.

This revival introduces readers to four captivating ongoing tales featured in the first issue. From the intense and thrilling “Gun Crazy,” to the enigmatic “The Dream” illustrated by Guillem March, the adaptation of Vernon Sullivan‘s “I Spit On Your Grave,” and the gripping saga of “Miss October,” readers are in for an immersive and diverse reading experience.
- Gun Crazy debuts the wild ride of Dolly Sanchez and Lanoya O’Brien, two girls fighting for survival in this violent story in the crossroads of Tarantino, VHS stuff, and the 80s.
- Guillem March draws Jean Dufaux’s The Dream, a tale about Megan, a Hollywood casting director who attempts to bring out the potential actor hidden deep inside a stripper in the San Francisco suburbs.
- I Spit On Your Grave is an adaptation of Vernon Sullivan’s famous novel about Lee Anderson, whose only goal is to avenge the death of his brother. Along the way, he’ll fall into a life of debauchery and sex.
- Miss October follows a young and high-flying female who desperately must find the killer whose murdering women, one by one and dubbing them by each month of the year, before she’s next!
