Stallone plays Dwight “The General” Manfredi in the series. An ex-convict who spent 25 years behind bars and continues to live the life that led him there in the first place. When he is released, he quickly returns to his old ways and even with his mob family’s decision to ship him off to Oklahoma, he quickly works on establishing a mob empire there with a new team of criminals.

“Tulsa King scored as the #1 new series of the year, topping all others including the Game of Thrones sequel House of the Dragon, with its preview on Paramount Network, and on Paramount+, it shattered records, driving us to our biggest new sign-up day in history – which is why we instantly greenlit Season 2,” said Chris McCarthy, President/CEO, Paramount Media Networks & MTV Entertainment Studios.

McCarthy further added:

“Tulsa King together with Mayor of Kingstown, 1883 and the upcoming 1923, undeniably confirm the success of our strategy to franchise Yellowstone and use it to supercharge streaming growth — none of which would be possible without the creative mastermind of Taylor Sheridan.”

Starring alongside Stallone is Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, A.C. Peterson, Garett Hedlund, and Dana Delany. The series was created by Taylor Sheridan who also executive produced the series alongside Terence Winter. David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Allen Coulter, and Braden Aftergood also executive-produced the series.
