Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror: First Holiday Event Arrives with Plenty of Rewards for Players
Activision Blizzard has released details on Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror. The popular Halloween event dropped today and with it marks the first holiday event for the free-to-play sequel. Players can expect Halloween-inspired skins plus other rewards. Also available is a new unique PvE experience for players to enjoy.
The yearly Halloween event is a yearly celebration for players of Overwatch and is now the first for the sequel which gives players a good indication of what they can expect. In the spirit of sequels, Activision Blizzard‘s Halloween PvE event is a spiritual sequel of Junkenstein’s Revenge which is titled Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride.
The blog post shared more details on this PvE event, saying:
“Return to Adlersbrunn alongside four fresh faces to experience an all-new story as the Bride of Junkenstein seeks vengeance upon those responsible for the death of her creator. Complete challenges to unlock special rewards like the Nightfall Over Adlersbrunn Name Card, the Jack-o’-Lantern Weapon Charm, Battle Pass XP, and other spine-tingling rewards. Dr. Junkenstein will also be making a grand reappearance in the original Junkenstein’s Revenge co-op Brawl, returning for a limited time to Halloween Terror 2022.”
Halloween Terror will be available today October 25 through November 1. Players can also head to Twitch to watch 2 hours of gameplay in the Overwatch 2 category to unlock the Werewolf Winston Spray and if you complete 4 hours watched, you will receive the Werewolf Winston Legendary Skin.
Players also get double XP this weekend from October 28 through October 31 and be sure to log in during the Halloween Terror event to unlock the Cursed Captain Reaper Legendary Skin and Health Pack Weapon Charm.
