Nope Trailer Reveals the Alien Threat Approaching in Jordan Peele’s Horror Film
Universal Pictures has released a new trailer for Jordan Peele‘s latest horror film, Nope. The trailer unveils the upcoming alien threat that is approaching and answers some of the fan speculations since the release of the eerie poster a few months ago. We now know what threat rests above the small town and its citizens this July.
Check out a short synopsis here:
“Oscar® winner Jordan Peele disrupted and redefined modern horror with ‘Get Out’ and then ‘Us’. Now, he reimagines the summer movie with a new pop nightmare: the expansive horror epic, ‘Nope’. The film reunites Peele with Oscar® winner Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah), who is joined by Keke Palmer (Hustlers, Alice) and Oscar® nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Okja) as residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.”
The trailer focuses on some of the townsfolk of the town as the looming extraterrestrial threat looms above and in the final moments of the trailer, we see the massive UFO that is most likely not here to make new friends.
The film stars Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, Michael Wincott, Brandon Perea, Barbie Ferreira, Terry Notary, Donna Mills, Jennifer Lafleur, Sophia Coto, and Keith David. The film will be helmed by Peele who also produced the film alongside Ian Cooper.
Nope will premiere in theaters on July 22th, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
