NO REMORSE: An Illustrated Graphic Novel Coming to Z2 Comics to Celebrate 50th Anniversary of Legendary Motörhead

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Motörhead, Z2 Comics has compiled a remarkable lineup of icons to share their personal encounters with the man who epitomized the sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, Lemmy Kilmister.

The 176-page tribute, NO REMORSE: THE ILLUSTRATED TRUE STORIES OF LEMMY KILMISTER AND MOTÖRHEAD, commences with a deeply personal foreword by Lemmy’s dear friend Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters), and a touching afterword by his longtime friend and collaborator, Ozzy Osbourne.

This book unites 25 rockstar contributors and 25 acclaimed illustrators to narrate their true and unbelievable personal encounters with the revered founding father of Motörhead.

Among the contributors are Ozzy Osbourne, Lars Ulrich, Slash, Chrissie Hynde, Dee Snider, Dave Navarro, Neil Gaiman, Michael Moorcock, pro-wrestling giants Triple H, Corey Graves, and TV & film luminaries including Matt Pinfield, Penelope Spheeris, and Riki Rachtman, as well as his bandmates Phil Campbell, Mikkey Dee, and Slim Jim Phantom.

Presented through a diverse array of visual styles, the artists involved in NO REMORSE capture the multifaceted tales of Lemmy Kilmister. The cover art, illustrated and designed by comic book legend Tim Bradstreet (Punisher, Hellblazer), features a holographic coating on Lemmy’s classic aviator specs.

All collector editions will include the oversized deluxe volume of the book contained in a metallic foil embossed slipcase, with die cuts that reveal the holographic coating on Lemmy’s classic aviator specs on the cover.

Z2 President and the book’s co-editor/designer, Josh Bernstein, expresses:

From his early years as a roadie for Jimi Hendrix to his time with the band Hawkwind and the formation of Motörhead, Lemmy Kilmister set the standard for the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle. As Dave Grohl stated of their first meeting, “until then I’d never met what I’d call a real rock ‘n’ roll hero before. Fuck Elvis and Keith Richards, Lemmy’s the king of rock ‘n’ roll. A living, breathing, drinking, snorting, fucking legend. No one else comes close.”
