New Hogwarts Legacy Trailer Unveils Dark Arts and Sebastian Sallow’s Questline

Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software‘s Hogwarts Legacy revealed a brand-new trailer at Gamescom 2022. The upcoming RPG is set in the Harry Potter universe created by J.K. Rowling and will let players take the role of a student at the famed school of witchcraft and wizardry, Hogwarts.

The trailer unveiled during the presentation revealed the practice of Dark Arts, unforgivable curses, and a look at the Sebastian Sallow dark questline. The trailer shows players will have access to Crucio which is a curse used by dark wizards and tortures whomever it is used on.

The trailer’s description reads:

“Should you choose to befriend Slytherin student Sebastian Sallow, you will be faced with the decision to embrace or reject the Dark Arts as you uncover his family’s mystery through his companion quest line.

Will you choose to learn this dark magic? 

Focusing on one of Hogwarts Legacy’s optional companion quest lines with Sebastian Sallow, the Dark Legacy trailer provides a glimpse at the forbidden curses and difficult dilemmas players will face as they learn more about the Sallow family’s mystery and decide whether to engage with, or even embrace, the dark arts.”

Hogwarts Legacy will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on February 10th, 2023.
