New Hogwarts Legacy Featurette Gives Wizards In-Depth Look at Hogwarts
Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software‘s Hogwarts Legacy revealed a new trailer for the upcoming RPG is set in the Harry Potter universe created by J.K. Rowling and will let players take the role of a student at the famed school of witchcraft and wizardry, Hogwarts.
The game is currently set to release in February 2023 and just recently dropped a gameplay trailer at Gamescom 2022 along with an unboxing video of the magical collector’s edition. The studio now released a featurette that shows off a deep dive into the magical school of Hogwarts.
The trailer gives players the best look at the school yet, with the House common rooms in Hogwarts Legacy on display along with a tease at some of the easter eggs that players will encounter when they jump into the RPG, plus much more. The new trailer should be enough to show fans of the series the level of detail that has gone into building the world of the game. We also get to see parts of Hogwarts that hardly got any screen time with the Hufflepuff common room being displayed in the trailer.
The trailer’s description reads:
“Should you choose to befriend Slytherin student Sebastian Sallow, you will be faced with the decision to embrace or reject the Dark Arts as you uncover his family’s mystery through his companion quest line.
The new featurette also gives players information on how to link your WB Games account to your Harry Potter Fan Club account which will connect your accounts and bring your Hogwarts house and Fan Club wand into the game. If you don’t have a Harry Potter Fan Club account, you can do so and be sorted into your House by taking a short quiz. Linking your accounts will also unlock rewards that include special decorative house robes and a beaked skull mask. Check it out below:
Hogwarts Legacy will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on February 10th, 2023.
I have watched this trailer 30+ times and it always gives me the chills. The destiny story and narrative team have been on a god streak since beyond light. The warlock set looks like Rambo and the titan – like my boy Arnold. I have been a loyal fan since Destiny 2, this looks absolutely brilliant. I’ve always felt like besides the tower, every environment in destiny felt abandoned and feral, so playing in a cyberpunk looking city is going to be amazing though.
