Musician Mansion Episode 1 Sees YouTube Musicians & Pro Musicians Join Forces

A new reality show brought to life by Jared Dines, and Angel Vivaldi is one not to miss if you’re a fan of music. Jared and Angel rented out a mansion for an entire week. What they have done together is just simply impressive. The premise of the show is that they have gathered YouTube musicians and professional musicians to be randomly selected so that they can go ahead and form their bands.

Like any other reality show you have seen such as “Hell’s Kitchen” there are team challenges and eliminations. To shake things up, one of the most creative aspects of this show is that you would have a pro who is say a metal guitarist paired with a jazz drummer, and a soul guitar player paired with a deathcore singer.

The prize for each winner per episode is $1,000 plus some internet notoriety. The first challenge in the pilot was to come up with a team name, write a song, and perform it live for the other contestants.

The first team consisted of Lauren Babic who is the primary vocals, Bradley Hall (Guitar), Sophie Burrell (Guitar), Dylan Ray on drums, and finally Andrew Baena who is multi-talented and can do drums “not very well”, guitar, vocals, and bass. Who took up the bass. They dubbed themselves as “Skylimit” who provided an amazing deathcore performance.

Team two consisted of: Anthony Vincent on the vocals, Sunfyre “Sun” Sophia infamously known as “Toad Girl” online stuck to her talent as the drummer for the group, next up is Rudy Ayoulo who is a jack of all trades who took up the bass, Jimena Fosado who is a touring fill in musician that took up the lead guitar, finally Drewsif who played rhythm guitar for “Grasshopper” that put comedy and some groovy grunge sounds to their song.

Lastly, the third team Graystone came hard with their pig squeal/deathcore sound consisting of: Justin Bonitz on Bass, and vocals, Paula Carregosa on guitar who is mainly known for death metal, Austin Dirklry known for his metal vocals in the music industry, Nick Nocturnal as guitar, and lastly, Damien Ward on the drums.

This show is such a fun watch because it gives it a different feel from the previous music reality show known as “The Glee Project.” It truly takes every person from the band group to click, and mesh to come up with their own identity, you truly get that with the first episode, especially with it running for 7 episodes, and it being 45 minutes. You can see who thought outside of the box to make something happen. Geek Network won’t spoil who won the first episode because you have to see it for yourself, but the best performance was brought by “Skylimit.”
