Monster Hunter Rise Coming to Xbox and PlayStation Next Month
Capcom‘s most recent entry in the Monster Hunter franchise was a huge success and Nintendo has had exclusive access to the title since its release. Well, that is about to change as Monster Hunter Rise makes its way to Xbox and PlayStation next month. Even more exciting news is that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will follow suit with a planned release in Spring 2023.
The latest entry will also be joining the roster on Xbox Game Pass for both console and PC when it launches. The current-gen Monster Hunter Rise will come equipped with 60 FPS gameplay and 4K resolution. Those of you looking to enjoy the game on PlayStation 5 will be happy to know that there will be DualSense haptic feedback implemented into the current-gen version of the game for ranged and shielded weapons.
Monster Hunter Rise has been a fan-favorite entry since it launched in 2021 on the Nintendo Switch and then later became available on PC this year. The fanbase grew even larger with the game becoming available on another platform and now Monster Hunter Rise looks to invade current-gen consoles and hopes to find the big success that Monster Hunter World brought to PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Rise has already sold a respectable 11M copies and that number should grow when it hits consoles next month.
Monster Hunter Rise comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox Game Pass on January 20, 2023, with a planned Spring 2023 release for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
