Sci-Fi videogame High on Life Landing in Local Comic Shops June 12th

One of the wildest first-person shooter games of the last couple of years, Squanch Game’s High on Life, will soon be hitting comic shelves all across the world.

Squanch Game’s High on Life, created by Justin Roiland (who co-created the hit series Rick & Morty) was released for the PC and Xbox back in December 2022.  The game takes place in a crazy sci-fi world featuring colorful characters, absurd humor, and talking weapons known as Gatlians.

Now, Titan Comics is bringing the wild and weird world of High on Life to the pages of a brand new comic series!  The series is written by Alec Robbins, the creator of the web comic Mr. Boop. Longtime fans may recognize that name because Alec worked on the original High on Life game as well.  The series will be drawn by Kit Wallis (Wonderland) and colors will be done by JP Jordan (Plough Man).  The new High on Life comic series is set to to hit shelves with the same absurd humor, over the top sci-fi action, and zany characters fans have to come to expect from the game.

Titan’s official synopsis for the upcoming High on Life comic series reveals a few more details about the first issue:

“Though they restored peace to the cosmos by killing Garmantuous, there’s no rest for the Bounty Hunter when a brutal new threat to Humans shoots its way onto the scene. Armed with plucky & determined Harper – and the rest of the Gatlian gang – the series will take them on an explosive, twisting adventure across the cosmos.

A story of GUTS, GORE, REDEMPTION, and lost love, this brand-new miniseries will be a rollercoaster romp in the world of the eponymous video game.”

The High on Life comic will debut on June 12th, 2024.  Make sure you contact your local comic shop or favorite book website and preorder yours now!  In the meantime, fire up your console of choice and take your favorite Gatlian out for another adventure!
