New World Update ‘Heart of Madness’ Completes Game’s Main Story in Biggest Update Since Launch

Amazon has announced that a huge update is coming to New World and it will be completing the game’s main story. Including hundreds of changes, the addition of the main story’s final quest headlines the update. The final quest is titled Heart of Madness and will lead players to finally battle the evil Isabella.

Players will be able to start the new quest by visiting Yseult Meredith at the Mountain Home Outpost in Shattered Mountain. The quest comes with a recommended level of 60 with Gearscores between 550 and 570 according to Amazon Games. Although it wasn’t made clear where the storyline will go after the confrontation with Isabella, a tease as to what’s next is not out of the question.

The new update also brings players a new weapon, the Blunderbuss. The Blunderbuss is a close to mid-range weapon for best effectiveness and will mark the first weapon to scale with strength and intelligence. This will be a good weapon of choice for bruisers and mages. The Blunderbuss will include two weapon mastery trees and once level 60 and the maximum skill level is reached, a new legendary weapon quest series will be available.

The new update comes with many new fixes, changes, and additions, some of which focus on exploration. Amazon Games added two collectible paintings in each territory as well as new unique enemies players will find roaming around in different landscapes that will drop rare rewards.
