Skybound’s First Look at Void Rivals #2 Kicks the Energon Universe into Hyperdrive
Skybound Entertainment has revealed the first look at Void Rivals #2. After the ghost reveal of the expansive plans between Skybound and Hasbro to create a shared universe featuring Transformers and G.I. Joe came within the pages of Void Rivals #1.
The premiere issue quickly had fans eager to see where this collaboration will be going. Skybound has already laid out the next steps of the Energon Universe and it is exciting times ahead for fans but there is still more story to tell in the series that propelled this universe into existence. We now get our first look at Void Rivals #2 from the Oblivion Song creators Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici who team up with colorist Matheus Lopes and letterer Rus Wooten.
Skybound teases what’s coming in Void Rivals #2:
After the jaw-dropping reveal in the debut issue, everything Darak and Solila thought they knew about the Sacred Ring’s never-ending war has changed. To deliver the truth back home, they must first get off this deadly planet—by any means necessary.
Void Rivals #2 will feature a main cover by series artist De Felici and also comes packed with variant covers by artists Nick Robles, Mindy Lee, Karen S. Darboe, and Tula Lotay.
Void Rivals #2 will be available at your favorite local comic shops and digitally on July 19, 2023.
