DC Reveals Earth-Shaking First Look at Jurassic League
DC Comics has revealed a first look at their upcoming earth-shattering series Jurassic League. The new series reimagines the Justice League as prehistoric dinosaurs with Superman’s origin getting a new look. When the publisher first announced the series, DC’s exact words on the series were… “Defenders of Truth, Justice, and the Prehistoric Way.”
Per DC, the dino-superheroes will join forces with super-powered dinosaurs to “save a prehistoric Earth from the sinister machinations of Darkseid.” The series will be co-written by Daniel Warren Johnson and Juan Gedeon with Johnson illustrating the main covers and Gedeon providing the interior art for the series with colors by Mike Spicer.
The preview features Superman’s altered origin as we see baby Superman put in rocketship and crash landing on Earth, he still winds under the care of the Kents, but in this iteration, they are cavemen, but unlike the original origin, they don’t find a young human baby and instead find a dinosaur egg carry a baby dinosaur, Superman.
