First Glimpse at Sonic Prime Revealed in Netflix Trailer
Netflixhas revealed a new trailer showcasing some of their upcoming animated series that include Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, My Little Pony, Battle Kitty, and more. The trailer also showed viewers the first glimpse at the upcoming animated series Sonic Prime. The series was first announced in February of 2021 and there hasn’t been much news about it since, with the current cuts in Netflix‘s animation sector, it’s reassuring to see a glimpse of the series affirming that it is still on the way and that a trailer may be on the horizon.
The series will star Deven Mack who will be lending their voice to the blue blur. The series doesn’t currently have a premiere date but will consist of twenty-four episodes featuring Sonic fighting to save their multiverse from a looming threat.
Netlfix’s official description of the series reads:
“The 24-episode animated adventure for kids, families, and long-time fans draws upon the keystones of the brand and features the “Blue Blur” of video game fame in a high-octane adventure where the fate of a strange new multiverse rests in his gloved hands. Sonic’s adventure is about more than a race to save the universe, it’s a journey of self-discovery and redemption.”
The series will also star Ashleigh Ball, Shannon Chan-Kent, Brian Drummond, Vincent Tong, Ian Hanlin, Kazumi Evans, and Adam Narada.
