Dragon Ball: The Breakers Trailer Features Frieza and A Release Date On the Co-Op Survival Game
Dimps and Bandai Namco have released a new trailer for Dragon Ball: The Breakers. The new co-op survival game looks to give a unique experience to the franchise with a team of players taking on some of the most notable villains in Dragon Ball. The new trailer features one of the biggest baddies our Earth’s heroes have ever dealt with as Lord Frieza takes the spotlight in the trailer, revealing a 2022 release date.
Even though we won’t have Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, or Piccolo at our disposal directly, the game puts a spin on the traditional formula by giving players control of the non-superhuman characters that don’t typically stand toe-to-toe with these villains. Instead, players will work together to escape the clutches of “the Raider” as you work together to evade villains such as Cell, Mahin Buu, and as you will see in the trailer, Frieza. You will be able to either take on these tasks alone or work with your teammates to use tools at your disposal to escape via a time machine. It is noted that you will be able to harness the abilities of Earth’s heroes to some capacity.
Frieza wreaks absolute havoc in the trailer and will have all of his transformations at his disposal. The player who wields the power of Frieza can be seen in the trailer causing absolute mayhem as he releases his devastating planet-destroying attack, the Death Ball. The game may not be your traditional Dragon Ball game but it does seem to guarantee a fun and possibly wild experience to enjoy with friends.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 14th, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
