Harbour says in the interview that he believes it’s set to release next year and that it’s a horror game, saying:

“I actually have one coming out. Me and Jodie Comer did a video game. That’ll be coming out…I think it’s next year. A horror game.”

To nobody’s surprise, details are slim but with the release date in mind, it does leave some possible games within the genre that could fit. There are horror games in 2023 such as Resident Evil 4 Remake, Alan Wake 2, Dead Space Remake, Dead Island 2, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Silent Hill 2 Remake, and the list goes on. Although some of these leave room for stars of their caliber to fit into the game, short of Dead Island 2 which would leave the pair of Hollywood stars with possibly a glorified cameo role as characters in the universe, and it is set in Los Angeles, there is a possibility for this to happen.

I think the strongest possibility and best fit for the stars would be within The Dark Pictures Anthology. Supermassive Games has gone above and beyond to bring in talent from Hollywood to fit the roles of their characters within the anthology series. Since its premiere in Man of Medan which saw Shawn Ashmore in one of the roles and later on entries such as Little Hope featuring Will Poulter and House of Ashes featuring Ashley Tisdale, the anthology series has made it a recurring habit to bring in stars from other mediums to fit the roles.

Taking it further, Until Dawn featured an all-star cast as did The Quarry, so it is within the realm of possibility that after the season one finale The Devil In Me revealed Directive 8020 with a short teaser, the season 2 premiere of the horror anthology video game series could feature the talents of both Harbour and Comer.

Of course, this is all speculation and we will have to wait and see for more information on the project they were involved in to be revealed but in the meantime, tell us what game you think we might see these two stars in!
