Danger Street: Rorschach Creative Team Reunite for Black Label Crime Drama Comic Series
DC Comicshas announced a brand-new limited series from their Black Label line titled Danger Street. The 12-issue series reunites Rorschach creators Tom King, Jorge Fornés, and Dave Stewart for a crime drama series that will feature reimagined versions of the most obscure and offbeat DC superheroes in the lineup from the DC 1st Issue Special.
The premiere issue of the series will feature a main cover by series artist Fornés with variant covers featuring the characters of the series by artists Steve Rude, Lee Weeks, and Ben Oliver.
DC‘s description of Danger Street reads:
“Joining the Justice League is a goal for any superhero, but what happens when a quest for membership takes a sinister turn? Join Starman, Metamorpho, and Warlord as they look to prove themselves worthy by summoning and defeating Darkseid in battle.
Soon they’ll learn that calling upon a New God never ends well, and their world is headed for disaster as a result! The journey to save the day will be a treacherous one filled with princesses, knights, and all kinds of monsters. Each person the heroes encounter plays a crucial role in this sprawling yet gripping narrative that is a little bit silly, a whole lot dark, and completely cool.”
Danger Street #1 will be available at your favorite local comic shop and digitally on December 13th, 2022. Check out the preview below:
