BOOM! Studios has announced a new addition to their 2024 line-up: Man’s Best. This action-packed sci-fi romp, brought to life by writer Pornsak Pichetshote, artist Jesse Lonergan, and letterer Jeff Powell, promises to be a thrilling and emotional journey.

Set on the Starship Horizon, Man’s Best follows three emotional support pets as they navigate a world beyond their own. With humanity compromised by bad decisions and corporate greed, the Starship Horizon is on a mission to find a new home. However, when the ship crashes and the crew is captured, it is up to these loyal pets to become heroes and save their owners.

Equipped with outrageous tech, the trio consists of a cat in a mech suit, a golden retriever with a bionic leg, and a French bulldog with a rocket strapped to his back. Pornsak Pichetshote, the writer of the Eisner and Harvey Award-winning The Good Asian, shared his excitement about Man’s Best:
