Marvel to Debut Blade’s Daughter Bloodline in Free Comic Book Day’s Avengers/X-Men #1

Marvel Comics announced that they will be giving Blade‘s daughter Brielle also known as Bloodline her big debut in the pages of this year’s Free Comic Book DayAvengers/X-Men #1. The newest vampire hunter’s debut issue will be penned by Danny Lore with art by Karen S. Darboe. The teaser image showed a picture of Blade and his partner, Safron Caulder, on a table with plenty of vampire hunting tools with what readers can assume is either Safron or Brielle holding the photo. Marvel also shared a note within the image that reads Safron, I know you’ll keep her safe. This should help. Eric.” The publisher did not reveal much more information regarding the character or her debut issue.

Avengers/X-Men #1

Marvel‘s description for Avengers/X-Men #1 reads:

“Featuring stories by an all-star lineup of creators including writers Kieron Gillen and Gerry Duggan and artist Dustin Weaver, FREE COMIC BOOK DAY: AVENGERS/X-MEN #1 will lay the groundwork for an event that will erupt across the Marvel Universe in 2022 and drastically alter the relationship between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and mutantkind.”

Along with introducing Bloodline, the issue is set to be an introduction to Marvel‘s upcoming event that they have said will have huge implications on the Marvel universe, A.X.E. Eve of Justice #1 from writer Kieron Gillen and artist Pasqual Ferry this June.

Avengers/X-Men #1 will be one of many Marvel titles joining the Free Comic Book Day lineup this year on May 7th, 2022.
