Dark Horse Gets Set to Deliver Blood Force Trauma to Readers with Collected Comic Series
Dark Horse Books has announced that they will be publishing the comic book series Blood Force Trauma in a collected graphic novel. Originally released through Kickstarter, the series imagines a futuristic world where hand-to-hand combat reigns supreme. Two enter this arena but don’t expect a typical everyday ‘Fight Club’ situation as this world is filled with anything from kung-fu masters to “shark dudes.”
The official description of Blood Force Trauma reads:
“It’s America’s pastime of the future! Brutal hand-to-hand combat. Two fighters enter, one walks out. The other? Gets scraped off the arena floor! Full of laser skull guys, kung fu masters, and mutant shark dudes from another dimension! It’s somewhere a normal kid like Zap Daniels just doesn’t belong. Too bad he’s the new world champ!”
The series was co-written by Jake Smith and Hiram Corbett. Smith also provided art and colors for the series. The series received praise during its initial Kickstarter launch and has also gotten advance praise by fellow comic book creators such as Daniel Warren Johnson and Chris Burnham.
Blood Force Trauma will be available at your favorite comic shop and digitally on August 16th, 2023, and everywhere books are sold on August 29th, 2023.
