Rick Cosnett Talks Going from Speedster to Shoulder Dance
From “The Flash” to “Shoulder Dance.”
Geek Network had the chance to speak with Rick Cosnett It was quite the experience to sit down and talk about The Flash, and his newest project Shoulder Dance. Shoulder Dance is an LGBTQ-friendly independent film that follows the story of an old friend coming back into the life of another friend.
This reunion immediately turns into chaos as it turns into a weekend of seductive games, and all-out indulgence, and ultimately leads to unraveling revelations between the two couples, one gay, and one straight.

Rick touched on what it is like working on an independent movie and the ups and downs of getting a film featured in film festivals, the struggles, and of course the wins that come as highlights.
The independent film has been received with high praise and multiple positive reviews which is phenomenal, especially with this cast that features Cosnett alongside Matt Dallas, Maggie Geha, Samuel Larsen, and Taylor Frey. Shoulder Dance has taken home some accolades with wins/nominations at Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, Philadelphia Film Festival, and the LGTBQ Film Festival.

Geek Network: Before we jump into Shoulder Dance, what was it like returning to The Flash after being absent for a few seasons?
Rick Cosnett: It was an amazing experience being able to come back and rejoin the cast after a few years, it was empowering and absolutely wonderful. Though it is a bit weird because I’m an Aussie who had to talk in an American Accent, while the show was filmed in Canada. That’s something I’ll never truly understand.
Shoulder Dance is available on VOD, and you can also catch it at a film festival near you, in the next few months. Check out the full interview below:
