Netflix to Exclusively Stream WWE Raw Starting January 2025, The Rock TKO Board of Directors
Netflix has announced a groundbreaking partnership with TKO, the company formed through the merger of WWE and UFC, to exclusively stream WWE Raw beginning in January 2025. This marks the first time in its 31-year history that Raw will depart from linear television.
Under this deal, Netflix will become the exclusive home for Raw in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Latin America, with plans to expand to additional countries and regions over time.

In addition to Raw, Netflix will also be the platform for all WWE shows and specials outside the U.S., including SmackDown, NXT, and WWE‘s Premium Live Events such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble.
Netflix will offer access to WWE’s documentaries, original series, and upcoming projects on an international scale starting in 2025. The deal, valued at about $5 billion and spanning 10 years, signifies a significant shift in the media landscape and amplifies WWE’s global reach.
Alongside the landmark streaming deal, Dwayne Johnson, known in the pro wrestling circuit as The Rock, has joined the board of directors of TKO. The agreement also grants Johnson ownership of the trademarked name ‘The Rock‘ through a services and merchandising arrangement with WWE. His appointment reflects TKO’s dedication to strategic growth initiatives across UFC and WWE.

The WWE President, Nick Khan, emphasized that Netflix’s exceptional storytelling capabilities make it the ideal long-term home for Raw’s devoted fan base. Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria, expressed enthusiasm about bringing Raw’s captivating sports entertainment to Netflix members, foreseeing a mutually beneficial partnership.
Vince McMahon, Executive Chairman of the Board at TKO, praised Johnson’s unparalleled understanding of sports, entertainment, and media, affirming his valuable contribution to the company’s future. In response, Johnson expressed profound humility and motivation to expand TKO, WWE, and UFC’s global footprint while representing the dedicated athletes and performers within these organizations.

Ariel Emanuel, CEO of TKO, welcomed Johnson’s exceptional talent to the board, highlighting his proven expertise in content creation and brand building, which aligns with TKO’s ambitious vision.
This partnership between Netflix and TKO signifies a new era for WWE. WWE Raw will begin streaming on Netflix in January 2025.
