Demon Slayer Season 4 Reel Shows Off Hashira Training Arc

A recent promotion reel for Demon Slayer Season 4 has brought exciting news for fans of the anime. The reel revealed new details about the upcoming season 4 opening storyline, called the ‘Hashira Training Arc‘. In addition, there are plans for a special theatrical release titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: To the Hashira Training.

This theatrical release will serve as a bridge into the long-awaited ‘Hashira Training Arc’ and will combine episode 11 of the ‘Swordsmith Village Arc’ and episode 1 of season 4 in 4K and IMAX format. Fans can watch the full promotion reel to absorb all the excitement.

For those who are unfamiliar with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, it is set in the Taisho Period in Japan. The story follows Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living. After his family is slaughtered by a demon and his sister Nezuko is transformed into a demon herself, Tanjiro vows to become a ‘demon slayer’ in order to turn his sister back into a human and seek revenge on the demon responsible.

The announcements about the ‘Hashira Training Arc’ and the theatrical release have come after the ‘Swordsmith Village Arc’. The movie, which will be released on February 23, 2024, is more of a theatrical event to celebrate the launch of the new arc.

While there is no exclusive footage included, fans can still expect surprises. The ‘Hashira Training Arc’ will begin broadcasting on Fuji TV in the spring of 2024, with the first episode being a one-hour special. Fans outside of Japan can anticipate both the movie and new episodes to be available on Crunchyroll.
