Watch Dogs Tokyo: Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs is Getting an Official Manga

One of Ubisoft‘s popular video game franchises is getting an official manga. Watch Dogs Tokyo will be taking the Watch Dogs series to a new location in a whole new medium of entertainment. The manga debuts today in Japanese. Manga Mogura RE made the discovery and will feature the Bloom Corporation that players have encountered in the video game series. The video games have taken us to Chicago, San Francisco, and London and now the universe is expanding to Tokyo.

The new manga series is written by Shirato Seiichi with illustrations by Kamo Syuhei. The series plot that was shared by Manga Mogura RE is the following:

“It will be about a special new infrastructure system from a company called Bloom Japan used by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to change people’s lives. However this new system does in fact also harbour a great darkness.”

Watch Dogs Tokyo will be released on the manga website Kurage Bunch. No news on whether an English version of the manga will be released at any point but we are certainly keeping our fingers crossed!
