The Strangers: Chapter 1 Reveals First Clip Showing Off Upcoming Trilogy
The Strangers franchise is set to make its return next year with an entire trilogy. Director Renny Harlin, known for his previous works such as Cliffhanger and Die Hard 2, will helm these new films, which will serve as an extension of the franchise that first captivated audiences in 2008.

The Strangers: Chapter 1 of the trilogy will star the talented Madelaine Petsch from the hit series Riverdale, alongside Froy Gutierrez. The story follows these two characters as they embark on a cross-country journey to start a new life in the Pacific Northwest, only to find their plans interrupted by terrifying criminals with chilling masks.
While details about the second and third films remain scarce, it has been confirmed that all three movies will take place over a few days, and the third film will unveil the origin of the Strangers, shedding light on the mysterious killers from the original film.

Lionsgate has recently released a clip from The Strangers: Chapter 1, offering a glimpse into the film’s main protagonist played by Petsch. The film looks to adapt the spine-chilling suspense with the infamous knocks at the door that still haunt us to this very day. The film serves as a reboot of the original film but will continue the story moving forward into the trilogy.
