Kid Cudi Makes Comics Debut At Image Comics With Upcoming Moon Man Series
Grammy Award-winning musician Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi is set to make his comics debut alongside Eisner Award-nominated co-writer Kyle Higgins, breakout artists Marco Locati and Igor Monti, Eisner Award-winning letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, and editor Michael Busuttil in the upcoming series Moon Man.
The all-new ongoing series is set to launch in January 2024 from Image Comics, Black Market Narrative, and Mad Solar, promising an exciting journey into a world of secrets and adventure.

Moon Man follows the story of Ramon Townsend, a man who wants nothing more than a quiet life after successfully guiding his crew back home from a nearly disastrous moon mission. However, there’s more to this mission than meets the eye. Unraveling the mystery behind the missing minutes captured by the cameras will lead Ramon to discover a shocking secret that could change everything. As the world focuses its attention on him, Ramon finds himself transforming into something entirely new and extraordinary.

Kid Cudi expressed his excitement about the project, calling it one of the coolest things he’s ever been a part of. He assures readers that Moon Man will be a unique and captivating comic experience that pushes boundaries and surpasses expectations. Mescudi also extends his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supports the series, promising a story unlike anything they’ve read before.
Higgins explains that Moon Man explores themes of progress, heroism, and the quest for truth in a world dominated by power-hungry corporations. The series not only delves into the transformative journey of its protagonist but also prompts readers to contemplate the changes they themselves are willing to make in the face of new discoveries.

To accompany the launch of the series, Moon Man will feature an array of stunning variant covers from artists such as Rod Reis, Matt Taylor, Sanford Greene, Christian Ward, Denys Cowan, and Bill Sienkiewicz.
Moon Man #1 will be available at your favorite local comic shop and digitally on January 31, 2024.
