A Monstrous Reveal – Monster Matador Named Finalist for the 2024 International Latino Book Awards

Santa Monica, CA — September 4, 2024 — Monster Matador, the critically acclaimed comic book series by Steven Prince, has been named a finalist for the 2024 International Latino Book Awards (ILBA) in the Best Graphic Novel category. Empowering Latino Futures (ELF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to recognizing excellence in literature, presents this prestigious award and will announce the final medalists at the 26th International Latino Book Awards Ceremony on October 19, 2024 at Los Angeles City College.
Founded in 1997, ELF is headquartered in Fallbrook, California. It has been a significant force in the literary world through its programs, including The Latino Book & Family Festivals and The International Latino Book Awards. The ILBA honors authors, translators, and illustrators for their outstanding contributions to English, Spanish, and Portuguese literature. With submissions from significant publishers, medium-sized and small publishers, and self-published titles, the awards highlight the diverse and vibrant talent within the Latino community.
Steven Prince, the creator of Monster Matador, expressed his gratitude, saying, “The entire team put so much hard work into making Monster Matador the best it could be.
